American Girl Doll Measurements

Here are the measurements for our American Girl doll. Her cloth body comes right up to the neck, which means that a neckline needs to be snug. She is able to wear sleeveless tops, but the measurement from neck to shoulder is only 1.5", and she is self-conscious about this. When she wears shorts, she prefers that they cover her upper thigh, which is one of her problem areas, so the measurement from crotch to short length should be at least 1.25". She is not in the least hard to work with as far as temperament goes, but she does have her standards!

• Neck 6" (neck opening 7 - 7.5 inches)
• Armseye to armseye across chest 5" to 5.25"
• Upper arm diameter (short sleeve) 4.5"
• Wrist (need sleeve opening minimum 4.5" for hand) 3.5"
• Long sleeve length 5" - 5.5"
• Chest (under arms) 11.5"
• Waist 11.25"
• Neck to waist 3.75" to 4"
• Waist to mid-calf 7.5"
• Waist to ankle 9" - 9.5" (mid-calf would be 11.5 from neck to hem)
• Circumference of head 12.5" - 12.75"
• Earlobe to earlobe, over the head (for bonnet) 10" - 11"
• Ankles 4.5"
• Foot length 2.5"
