About usWe are a group with a wide age span and many levels of expertise, however, we come together with a common bond of love for heirloom needlework. You may find us learning about smocking, fine machine sewing, embroidery, basic construction, or some other form of needlework. No one in our group knew all the other members before we came together to form the Palmetto Pleaters. Some of us are excited about making beautiful things for our own babies, children or grandchildren. Others do not even need an excuse for wanting to put needle to fabric. Some of us are located quite close to the meeting site, but others drive for hours to attend meetings. Our diversity makes us interesting. We would love for you to come for a visit! |
